ntt-assesment

Introduction

This repository contains the code for a Laundry Management System assignment project completed for NetTantra Technologies. The project includes a PHP backend and a MySQL database. It also uses Bootwatch as a CSS framework based on Bootstrap.

Requirements

  • XAMPP (with PHP and MySQL)
  • Any web browser

Installation

  • Clone the repository to your local machine using git clone https://github.com/MishraAditya2000/ntt-assesment.git in to the htdocs folder of XAMPP installation directory
  • Open XAMPP app and start PHP and MYSQL
  • Open phpMyAdmin on web browser by visiting http://localhost/phpmyadmin/
    • Create a new Databases by clicking on new and entering database name
    • Click the created Database and Click on the "Import" tab
    • Click on the "Choose File" button and select the provided .sql file
    • Click on the "Go" button
  • Update the database connection settings in the connection.php file with your own localhost, username, password and dbname.
  • Open your browser and navigate to http://localhost/ntt-assesment

Usage

The project should now be up and running on your local machine. You can now interact with the application and use the features as intended.

Note

Make sure that the PHP and MySQL are running on your machine before trying to run the project.
