Swapping data lines for ground, vcc for data lines, etc... that's always going to risk ruining electronic components. I'm sorry you fried your sdram by installing it incorrectly, but that is not really a design flaw. It also has nothing to do with this repository. If you have suggestions on how to modify the board specifically you should submit an issue to the Hardware_MiSTer repo with specific improvement suggestions, like an example circuit diagram --> https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/Hardware_MiSTer
