Setting up the projector and kinect it's a bit of a trial and error experience.
Sometime it works other times it doesn't. Is there a sweet spot to position the
kinect and projector
in order to make it work at least most of the time. I'm attaching a picture of
my setup.

Fist of all, thanks for sharing that great work!
After selecting the display, I get black screen with a white cursor hand.
I'm running Parallels on the latest MacBook Pro Retina. Anybody else having
these troubles?
Thanks, MArtin

When I connect my Kinect via USB and run the Ubi Displays Beta program, I do
not see my kinect in the depth camera list. When I click "refresh in the same
window it states in the bottom bar of the windows "Detected Kinect:
USB\VID_04..." No yellow exclamation mark in Device Manager, it shows as
"Kinect for windows device" with driver 1.6.0.476 and Port_#0002.Hub_#0009.
I am running windows 7 Professional SP1 32 bit.
I installed Kinect SDK 1.6 from Microsoft, then Ubi Displays Beta software and
then I connect the Kinect (also tried different order and SDK 1.7 on a similar
machine to no avail)
I would appreciate any good ideas :-)

This product is just screaming for a port to linux. I'm not sure how someone
would work around the kinect issue, but without it, making this product cheap
and ubiquitous will never happen. see http://openkinect.org/wiki/Main_Page

When I launch the program without a Kinect attached I get an initial error that
no kinect is attached. This is correct.
But when I connect my Kinect and run the program, no initial error msg but then
I do not see my kinect in the depth camera list or any mention of it in the
debug window. Somehow it knows a kinect is attached but shows nothing more than
that.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Select a large system font size
2. Notice that the web page content is slightly off.
A temp fix is to design responsive web content OR set your system font size
back to small (100%). Do this by right clicking on your desktop and selecting
screen resolution, then "make text and other items larger or smaller" and then,
selecting "smaller 100%".

After installing the SDK v1.6 I was able to successfully launch the program and
select a depth camera. I did the calibration and created a display... then I
closed the program.
Now everytime I relaunch the program it crashes as soon as I select my depth
camera. I have tried unplugging and replugging the kinect and retrying but it
makes no difference. Always crashes when selecting the depth camera. I have not
yet tried rebooting but I'm about to...

Its very unstable, Sometimes it works flawlessly other times it keeps on
crashing. In noticed that if it starts crashing the only thing that can bring
it to life is to restart windows.
The areas that it crashes are the following:
1. When I select the screen and then click to select the kinect.
2. Modifying the touch area
I'm using the Dec 6 version on Windows 7.
