Great tutorial

WHen I try to run it this error appears:

java.lang.NullPointerException: Attempt to read from field 'android.view.View android.support.v7.widget.RecyclerView$ViewHolder.itemView' on a null object reference

Hey Mitch,

In line 43 : Glide.with(context).asBitmap().load(mImage.get(position)).into(holder.image);
I get an error saying Cannot resolve symbol 'image' and the image is highlighted in red. I tried making the image object as public in the viewholder class but that didn't resolve the issue. Please respond.

Even though you have done a great job, documentation asserts that we can improve the performance of our recycleView by adding this in the mainActivity.java(It looks like that the items layout dimensions are the same):

        // use this setting to improve performance if you know that changes
        // in content do not change the layout size of the RecyclerView
        mRecyclerView.setHasFixedSize(true);
