Vague Steps in Running apktool

I have been attempting to run the apktool command, but to no avail.

If possible, could you provide clearer instructions on how to run the apktool
command?

Can any application run the apktool.sh command once it is extracted to
/sdcard/apktool/ directory?

Can it only work with your Apktool4.3.1_armhf.apk application? If so, how to
run it?

In general, I would highly appreciate if there were better instructions to
utilize the work you have done.

Thanks!!! Hope you provide this really soon.

4.1 and 4.2 don't recompile, 4.4 doesn't decompile.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Decompile on version 4.4
2. Recompile on version 4.1 and 4.2 (decompile works fine)
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

On version 4.1 and 4.2 at first it builds dex, then it says it builds
ressources but then I see:
could not exec command: [/data/data/per.pqy.apktool/lix/aapt...]
and at the end I see:
caused by: java.io.IOException:Cannot run
program"/data/data/per.pqy.apktool/lix/aapt":error=13,Permission denied
The expected output should be:
build apk
On version 4.4 it can't decompile at all, with same permission denied error.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

I tried 4.1, 4.2 and 4.4 (both armhf and armel). I'm on android 4.2.2.
Previously I had used this apk with android 4.1.2 and it was working perfectly.

Please provide any additional information below.

java permission denied

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Anything past installing app. Such as import framework or decompile.
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
To either import the framework or decompile apk. Instead I get this:
/data/data/per.pqy.apktool/mydata/apktool2.sh: line 6:
/data/data/per.pqy.apktool/lix/jvm/java-7-openjdk-armel/jre/bin/java:
Permission denied

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Have used all in newest 4.4 version also used armhf version. Found 4.1 version
to work but it wont decompile everything in the apk. Thus wont recompile at
all. All tried on my samsung galaxy s4 running android version 4.3.

Stuck when open the app

using Apktool 4.4 armel version, why sometimes if I open the app, I got
STUCK(phone is stop running) ?? first open after installation is OK, but 2nd or
3rd or so on, it got stuck . And all I have to do then is force my phone to
reboot by holding power/lock button. After reboot, if I open the app, I got
stuck again. So, once it got stuck, it will stuck again and again unless I
re-install the app. This happen on 4.4(armel) only, but, version 4.3(armel) is
work fine here. Armhf version is not compatible with my device.

My device is SAMSUNG GALAXY Y GT-S5360, using stock based ROM, thanks in
advance.

sorry, bad english..
