It is a nice app, and it would be better if some adaption could be made to the Mac without a notch.

It does works on those kinds of Macs just by dragging file to the upper edge, right under the front camera, but there would not be a lightband shown in the centre of the menu bar.

Hi,

Thanks for building this app ! I was excited to try it but it doesn't launch.

When launching the app directly from Finder I get the little zoom in animation indicating that it was launched but nothing appears either on the dock or the menu bar (doesn't launch from anywhere : Launchpad, Raycast, Right click > Open).

I checked the console and found 3 identical errors :

AirSlide (AppKit)
Subsystem : com.apple.runtime-issues
Category : Nib loading
Message :

Nice job! I love this so much.
But I figure out it is easily to trigger by accident while using external display which arrange upon the MacBook and dragging files cross. 🥲

In settings, add「 Trigger AirDrop after release dragging in Notch area 」 or 「 Trigger AirDrop after hover Notch area in X seconds」that cloud solve this problem maybe.

I update macOS today to 13.6 and found the AirSlide has been marked as a malware App, and can not open anymore.
I think maybe some new security rules that AirSlide just not following.
