github-action-purge-packages's Issues

registryPackagesForQuery deprecated

We have been using your action for a while now to purge packages from GitHub. All of a sudden it stopped working.

It seems that the api endpoint that is used to search for packages is deprecated in the GiHub GraphQL API: https://developer.github.com/v4/breaking_changes/#changes-scheduled-for-2020-04-01 and they have been removed from the API completely, making this action no longer functional.

Instead we are instructed to use the PackageOwner object instead. For search, it is suggested to use PackageSearch - though I have not been able to find the latter yet.

It could be re-implemented using repository.packages, though it does not accept all the parameters that the original search does, so it's not a drop-in replacement unfortunately
