Comments that can reply, and nest each other to a certain level of deepness. This is going to utilize the permalinks to connect the comments, and will be sorted on their post time. The biggest problem will be parsing here, as it's PITA to parse Pouet already, but will span across multiple pages that have to be loaded.

Implementation will be to have a permalink in the comment automagically added, on hitting reply - in a fashion that won't be too spammy.

In cleartext a comment could look like:

So it would not interfere much with the comment, as well not pissing off people who love their one dimensional comments. Yet have to find something that is reliable to parse.

Something that Gargaj suggested:

Override download link on prodpage with a link to 'c:/demos/year/party/compo'

I'd implement it as a second link below the download link, so you still have the chance to download it. Additionally make it configurable how you store them, not everybody has a C: for instance.

Longpoll the oneliner to see new message without clicking the header. This could be something for other fields like new prods as well. The problem here is to find a certain sweetspot to not hammer Pouet, so something along one minute should be fine I guess?

A big let down is having all UTF8 chars being converted to something you have to open charmap to decipher to. So this could be done with code, and would just show the actual char, instead of it's code.
