The inserted_at column is just the default sort if no specific sort order is specified in the parameters.

You have several options here.

1. You could update your templates or controller to always supply the sort_field argument to your paginate_*/1 calls
2. You could define your own paginate_*/1 method in your model files
3. You could rename your database column from created_at back to inserted_at
4. You could submit a Pull Request to Torch that includes changes to allow the default sort field to be customized as an option to the Use Torch.Pagination calls
