This style sheet is licensed under the GPL.
What exactly does this mean?
If I redistribute and use it as part of my app, what do I have to do to comply
with the license? Neither the server-side, not the client-side code is (or can
be) open-sourced.

Would you be willing to change the license to a better understood license like
CC-BY? Or GPL/CC-BY-SA with some extra clarification that this only applies to
changes to the style-sheet itself, not the rest of the application (presuming
that this is the intent here).

- i changed the body color #333 to #4c4c4c for better viewability
- the -1.5em margin is not perfect, if it is a abctract stylesheet
- body -> font-family: Calibri, Arial, sans-serif;
- blockquote -> font-family: Cambria, Georgia, serif;
- abbr, acronym -> cursor:help;
thanks for the stylesheet, and hope you can build on my modificatons...

Okay, this has been bugging me for a while, but I can't understand what's going
on.
The file doesn't seem to work any more (it used to, though) if I link it from
here, but it does work if I download it and link it locally.
I've stripped down a test page to the core, removing everything else and the
conditional comments too (to be able to test it in Firefox and Chrome too) and
it's the same.
But I just noticed that if I trigger quirks mode, it works. In standards mode
(being it HTML5, HTML 4 or XHTML, it doesn't matter) it doesn't.
Here are my final tests:
Quirks: http://www.dimensionedelta.net/html5/tests/test-quirks.html
Standards: http://www.dimensionedelta.net/html5/tests/test-standards.html
Personally, I've solved this by linking it locally, but I'm really curious
about the reason! Also, I think that everybody else has the same problem.
(I love this idea, by the way! Thanks!)
Best,
Francesco

Hello there,
the link to the light-on-dark version for the current 1.1 release on the
Project-Homepage is wrong. It says:
<!--[if lte IE 6]>
<link rel="stylesheet"
href="http://universal-ie6-css.googlecode.com/files/ie6.1.1b.css"
media="screen, projection">
<![endif]-->
But the actual filename is ie6.1.b.css - there's a 1 missing before the b.
Solution: change the filename for the light-on-dark version.
Best regards and thanks for this nice little css,
Steffen.
