Ah. This was made for gatsby V1. I imagine they made improvements on how to change the webpack config, so it might've broke the plugin.
I'll have to look into fixing this, thanks for letting me know about it!

Sorry about the wait, but I finally got around to updating it!
The plugin supports Gatsby v1 and v2 now. The options behave a little differently because Webpack is different now, but I updated docs to reflect whichever version you're working with.
Give it a shot if you haven't rolled your own solution, I'd love to know if it works for you!
