mwc's Introduction

bedrock

bedrock is the code name of the new mozilla.org. It is bound to be as shiny, awesome, and open sourcy as always. Perhaps even a little more.

Stay tuned.

Docs

bedrock is a playdoh project. Check out the playdoh docs for general technical documentation. In addition, there are project-specific bedrock docs.

mwc's Issues

CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md file missing

As of January 1 2019, Mozilla requires that all GitHub projects include this CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md file in the project root. The file has two parts:

  1. Required Text - All text under the headings Community Participation Guidelines and How to Report, are required, and should not be altered.
  2. Optional Text - The Project Specific Etiquette heading provides a space to speak more specifically about ways people can work effectively and inclusively together. Some examples of those can be found on the Firefox Debugger project, and Common Voice. (The optional part is commented out in the raw template file, and will not be visible until you modify and uncomment that part.)

If you have any questions about this file, or Code of Conduct policies and procedures, please reach out to [email protected].

Style section switching links

I've got basic styles in place for the links that switch between sections ("Overview" / "For Operators & Manufacturers", etc.). These will need to be updated to match the PSD, and have a proper active state.

Add active state to left menu

The blue that is now a :hover state for the left menu is actually supposed to be an active state (not CSS :active, but showing when you are "in" that section).

This will require a css hook to indicate the current section (maybe on the body tag).

The hover will just be a small background color change (#eee).

Pagination for partner logos

On several pages, the long lists of partner-logos will need to be paginated as shown in the PSD. This needs to be implemented, and somehow addressed in the mobile layout.

Wiki changes
