Enhanced Radar Booster

Mod for Lethal Company, that enhance Radar Booster.

Ever felt like Radar Booster lacking utility or not really needed? Then this mod might help you find usage for it.

Radar Booster now fits it name and cover bigger area, than employee's transmitter. Radar Booster can be teleported both ways same as employee. Radar Booster provide a strong signal same as ship teleporter allowing using it as target location for inverse teleporter. Remote scrap can be used to activate Flash on Radar Booster, especially useful for solo players.

Features

  • Radar Booster range on Map Monitor increased x2. Multiplier adjustable in Config.
  • Radar Booster can be teleported back to ship by Teleporter.
  • Radar Booster can be teleported to random location in facility by Inverse Teleporter.
  • When Radar Booster selected on Ship Monitor and Inverse Teleporter activated Player will be teleported to selected Radar Booster.
  • Remote scrap can trigger Radar Booster Flash in it range. Range adjustable in Config.

All features can be enabled/disabled in Config. Config can be synchronized between Host and Client.

Client/Server

  • Range increase is fully client-sided and can be used anywhere.
  • Teleportation of Radar Booster will require all clients to have it installed and utilize networking.
  • Teleportation to Radar Booster is client-sided.
  • Remote scrap is client-sided, but will make it work for everyone in lobby even without being host.

If want to join lobby without Enhanced Radar Booster, then disable networking in config to avoid kick due to having different mods.

Can teleport the radar back

Just noticing that teleporting the radar back plays the animation, but does not do anything to the radar scanner.
The inverse teleporter works fine with this.

the radar keeps appearing after leaving the moon

for some reason, when I inversed teleported the radar booster, after going to other moon, the radar booster spawned inside the building of that moon, this kept happening after many moon travels

its really freaky because it kinda matches the ship landing movement when starting the day, I could see the map as soon as I landed because of the radar already being inside

v49 wont work

the radar works the tp feature doesnt, all players have the mod and same config, unless im doing it wrong, i put it on the itp and it wont tp

[Bug/Compat] Radar Booster's location isn't specified after teleportation

This mainly affects OpenBodyCams radar booster camera because it doesn't know if it's still within the ship or inside the interior which causes the camera to never reenable itself after teleportation.

Also I would like to add that the radar booster teleports back to the ship instantly when it should be delayed by a couple of seconds. Just like when a player is getting teleported back from the interior.

Couple of issues

Hi, First off, I love the concept of this mod. Really love the idea and work you put into it.
I don't know if stuff I am describing below here is because of conflicting mods. But I still had some issues when turning all other mods off. I will mark with <> what I (still) had without other mods.

  • When teleporting a radar booster into the facility, I was not able to teleport to said radar booster.
  • <>When teleporting back a radar booster is undeployed.
  • When trying to teleport a radar booster back, it didn't come back. (I don't know what other mod causes the issue, but here is my modlistcode if you want to look into it. 018d605a-7bac-bf91-13f7-de4ababafd10 ). It does work without other mods.
  • <>some of the codes are not very readable on the 2x zoom.
  • <> Radar boosters that get left behind will be present on the next map.
  • <> Radar Boosters that get teleported back to the ship become undeployed, refocussing the map on the terminal to what appears the center of the facility if there are other radar boosters still present.

Reduce flash?

If not added to this plugin, is it possible to reduce the flash on the flash of the radar booster? It's sorta impossible to navigate back when the terminal operator has to spam flash sam over and over to prevent a giant from eating them

Client-side features preventing from joining unmodded lobby?

Issue when player with only enabled client-side features not allowed to join unmodded lobby.

i'm only using this mod for the range increase, as stated this is supposed to be fully client sided but when I try to join a lobby in lethal company I'm unable to until I remove the mod. does anyone know a way to fix this?
