ms32035 / home-assistant-ubibot Goto Github PK

Perhaps I'm showing my ignorance but, after installing this, I see only a new "Ubibot Update" - no sign of any new devises or entities with useful information about temp or humidity from my Ubibot devices.

I see the yaml section is:
platform: ubibot api_key: !secret ubibot_apikey channel: !secret ubibot_channel_number scan_interval: 900

so if my channel is 12345 do I amend to
channel: !secret 12345
or
channel: 12345
or
channel: 12345 ubibot_channel_number

I tried to install vais have bit can't find anything about this. Is this still available ?

If it is, can someone please guide me on the installation procedure

Hi there,

You have made a nice component here, I have forked to try to modify it to match my own ubitot sensor, but anyway I am pretty noob with HA could you esplain how to install and configure it plz ? a README.md would be really great add to this repository.

For now I have just put it on "custom_components" folder and it appear on the integration list on HA interface but it say that it requiere manual installation and I don know how to proceed...
