Hi,

Contrary to what is indicated in the doc :

Before running your packaging script, you'll need a copy of Burgomaster. This can be done using compsoser (mtdowling/burgomaster) [...]

This package is not available in packagist.org, i know it's possible to add a custom repository in composer.json client but for developers experience, it could be better if it will be available in packagist.

PS : there are a typo in this quote above. (compsoser => composer)

How can one automatically test whether the .phar works as expected?

It seems that the constant name generated in the stub is slightly wrong.

define('ALIAS.PHAR_PHAR', true);
Phar::mapPhar('alias.phar');
require 'phar://alias.phar/autoloader.php';

As you can see, .PHAR in ALIAS.PHAR_PHAR is not ideal.
It will be a minor fix to the logic that is already in there to get rid of that.
