mobile friendly design/layout

the design is horrific, especially on mobile

privacy & studies (plural)

So anybody with this url can submit samples which could be pretty annoying. Not really worried about it, but still.

I could require a PIN to access the app, but... I have a better idea.

I want to have separate studies, and I want you to, by default, get your own private study that is your own, and I don't want mine to be (by default) accessible to you, and I don't want to deal with auth.

Root will redirect to /studies which will auto-redirect to /studies?token=:token with a newly generated, unique token that is secret to you.

It's kinda like Gist and secret gists.

heroku on-page pinger

So Heroku goes to sleep, but it definitely shouldn't sleep while I have the page open.

I can setup a period timer to ping the app and keep it alive when I'm on the page. How long does it take for the app to get reaped?

visual feedback for submission success/failure

How do I know if the submission succeeded? or failed?

notes input not cleared out between submissions

after the first submission, the notes field wipes out, but the second (without reloading) doesn't?
