c++ library for image processing

The library will start from the last revision of the imageutilities library. The goal is to seperate the CUDA functionality and create a seperate (optional) library with that and, in addition, extend the library with (e.g.) OpenCL bindings.

imp's Issues

add cuData() accessor for linearmemory type

use __shfl for min/max/sum and other reduction operations

Do we want t have a generic reduction routine with a gpu lambda (>= cuda 7.5)?

make pangolin an extra catkin package and not use it as submodule

causes problems and troubles when other packages use pangolin and an extra pangolin_catkin pkg is easier to manage with multiple (independent) projects.

linearmemory wrong typedefs

In linearmemory.hpp the different type typedefs have a copy&paste mistake. C3 = C2, etc.

add imp::LinearMemory

Add 'intermediate' class with data assessor like imp::Image<Pixel,pixel_type> and derive LinearMemoryGpu (currently only imp::cu::LinearMemory) and LinearMemoryRaw (=imp::LinearMemory) from that.
