what version of vim are you using? if I can reproduce the error, I will see what I can do, also does the plugin work? are you using it with MacVim?

The plugin works and I am using it on plain vim on Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS

@skn @flexd I have just updated the numbers.vim with a better load guard this should fix these issues. Can you confirm.
