What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Try to install the plug-in on Netbeans 7.2.1.

Installation fails because of incompatibility. 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Netbeans 7.2.1 for Mac OS (Lion).

What do you see instead? Activation failed: Not all requested modules can be

7.x version doesn't install into 8.x

1) opening the project

2) I was not doing anything special when the npe was raised, the perforce
plugin was setup and i had added files to the perforce server about a minute
before.

3) I am using perforce version controlling plugin. The exception was raised

Using Java 6 in the Mac using Lion

What steps will reproduce the problem?
Anytime a submit action occurs, the description text doesn't get placed into 
the change list.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

This problem was introduced by some changes that I forgot that I had left half 
baked.  I did not do submit testing in the end and that of course made sure I 
missed this issue.

Submit on files will now work, moving them to a new change list if they are 
already in another change list.

Submit project moves all files to a new change list, and offers all the text 
from the other change lists associated with any of the opened files in the 
submit dialog.

On my version of perforce I don't have a p4diff

I modified the PerforceDiff.java file to retry with p4merge if p4diff fails.
