Firecrystal

FireCrystal is a visual debugger for Firefox. Users can record an interaction with a web page and replay that interaction along with the relevant code.

Setup

Build an xpi file from the contents of this directory (see https://blog.mozilla.org/addons/2009/01/28/how-to-develop-a-firefox-extension/) OS X: zip -r FireCrystal.xpi FireCrystal.p* README.md chrome* install.rdf

Firefox > Window > Add On.. > Install Add-On from File > select xpi, install and restart

Using the plugin

  • TBW

Issues

  • Recording icon does not refresh properly
  • Playback is not clear
