circe-benchmark

This project provides benchmarks comparing the decoding and encoding performance of circe with other open source libraries.

Running benchmarks

See Benchmark.scala for the benchmark definitions.

The following commands will run the individual benchmarks:

sbt "benchmark/jmh:run -i 10 -wi 10 -f 2 -t 1 io.circe.benchmark.EncodingBenchmark"
sbt "benchmark/jmh:run -i 10 -wi 10 -f 2 -t 1 io.circe.benchmark.DecodingBenchmark"
sbt "benchmark/jmh:run -i 10 -wi 10 -f 2 -t 1 io.circe.benchmark.ParsingBenchmark"
sbt "benchmark/jmh:run -i 10 -wi 10 -f 2 -t 1 io.circe.benchmark.PrintingBenchmark"
sbt "benchmark/jmh:run -i 10 -wi 10 -f 2 -t 1 io.circe.benchmark.CirceDerivationBenchmark"
