Nano Filters

Script snippets and filters for Nano Adblocker

These resources are designed for Nano Adblocker and may not always work as expected with uBlock Origin out of the box. See Filter Syntax Differences for more details.

Third party filters were cached on 2020-08-23. Cache will be updated on every release of Nano Adblocker.

Third party filters may have their own licenses, view filter headers for more information.

Please open an issue if there is something you want us to know.

Filters Policy

If an issue is taken care by a default (regional) filter, then it will not be fixed again in NanoFilters.

Ads and ads timer will be removed unless:

• It is non-intrusive,
• It is shown to all users, and
• It only promote first party products (for example, the Android app for your website)

Forced notifications will be removed if possible.

Any form of anti-adblock (hostile or friendly logic that detects the presense of adblockers) will be removed unless:

• It is non-intrusive, and
• It is for an automatic mining wall, an ads reward system (the user gets something after watching ads), an advertiser dashboard, or an analytics dashboard

If we consider appropriate and if possible, these forms of annoyance may be removed:

• Hostile anti-copy
• Hostile anti-select
• Hostile anti-right-click
• Hostile anti-hotkey
• Hostile anti-blur (switching to another tab or window)
• Forced like (social locker)
• Intrusive donation message
• Cookie wall where the user has no other choice than accept all
• Fake pay wall and fake login wall (a wall is fake if it does not work when JavaScript and/or cookies are disabled in browser settings)

Regular cookie notices are to be handled by Fanboy's Cookie List; tracking scripts are to be handled by EasyPrivacy; ads placeholders are to be handled by EasyList or NanoContrib.

Note: Annoyance filters are not subscribed by default.

Filter Quality Guideline

Filter rules should be reasonably fine-grained and efficient.

Deprecated features should never be used.

Nano filters should keep compatibility with uBlock Origin when possible.

Modified versions of the filters policy above will be applied to domains listed below.

Caches and Archives

Issues related to ads, ads timers, forced notifications, anti-adblock, and annoyance will not be fixed if they only affect archived contents.

Hi,

I have used your product for a while now and it is great. I cannot surf without it. I noticed something today that when I was on salon.com, I got a popup saying that I was using an adblocker. First time I have seen this in a while. Is there something I have to do to prevent this?

I am using Chrome with ublock and I looked at the instructions and have all the filters installed. Thanks.

At first the site is loading correctly but then a short moment later reverting to notifying that adblocking is detected and thus access to content is limited

On https://it.motorsport.com/ seems Nano Adblocker is a bit too aggressive, indeed if I try to see any videos hosted here I can't see it until I disable Nano Adblock from its menu.
I tried even whitelisting every "source" from firewall panel, but it works only if I disable Nano Adblock.
I hope I choose the right place to report this things because I don't think this is a Nano Defender problem, this is not an ads problem.

Anti adblock cannot be circumvented. It was working before, when refreshing the page 2-3 times. (maybe the Chrome 65 update is to blame or derstandard.at changed their blocking system)

In case that it works, wait some time as the implemented anti adblock does not block your access to the website at first.

Not necessarily an ad problem, but try loading this page (heavy WebAssembly) with Nano Defender enabled. Something like 35-40 seconds, right? Now try loading it with Nano Defender disabled... nearly instant.

Occurs on Firefox 60.0b2 (64-bit) w/ Nano Defender 13.41 & Chrome Version 65.0.3325.125 (Official Build) beta (64-bit) w/ Nano Defender 13.42.

As we (hopefully) see more WebAssembly based web apps in the future, we need to make sure Nano Defender doesn't break them.

I can not click on any button on the site, either to search or to log into my account. Hi, I'm using Nano Adblocker and Nano Defender.
Just out of curiosity, do you sometimes have problems solving Google reCAPTCHAs?
After solving it and clicking on "I'm not a robot", the check mark becomes green, but the problem is that I have to solve it again because it says the captcha was incorrect, even if the check mark was green.
Am I the only one?

Was not sure where exactly to post this so consider me slapped on the wrist. With Nano Defender Integration checked,msnbc.com loads then goes blank white. It does this UBO with UB Protector also.

This streaming site is full of ads and other bad things. I tried to block most of ads by adding this filter from myself:

Plus my antivirus track this link as malware and I added it too:

With these list I blocked most of ads but there is an overlay too on the video player, that I cannot remove despite any custom filter I create. I can remove it if I delete manually this lines <div class="load-more"><!-- Mask --></div> from elements in console. This overlay block you from set full screen option.
Another important thing is that streaming isn't working always. It works just in case of some "events" so don't worry if it's not streaming any content.

Does anyone have a solution for blocking facebook's invasive overlay that nags you to log in when browsing the site. I do not have a face book account nor do I intend to register one.

I have tried blocking the elements manually however the nag screen pops up again when I navigate to another page.

I found this rule set

The behavior can be replicated by navigating to ANY public facebook page while not logged into facebook

cwtv.com seems to be testing a new player which embeds ads into the player and will not let you skip past them. It appears the newest episodes of Riverdale and The Flash are the only shows using the new player at the time. You can tell by the &extended segment of text at the end of the link.
