support for parallel streams

Can I specify the number of parallel streams?
I dont see the option for that.
...

Is the project ready to be used in production? I still see a bunch of hooks for running in VMs, and installation procedure modifies tons of stuff on hosts... Is it tested enough? Any updates to the code?
