Missing LICENSE file

I see the project is GPLv2. Is this GPL-2.0-OR-LATER or GPL-2.0-ONLY?

I would recommend adding a LICENSE file to make the license clearly visible for the first page view.

Edit: Typo

Deskcut does not work on Debian 12 (bookworm)

Hi,

I tried to run Deskcut on Debian 12 (bookworm), but unfortunately the app does not work -the window appears but it is blank and closes after a few second. The same happens with a .deb package and the AppImage file.

Yarn fails to install packages

Hey, I'm trying to build from source so I can create a PKGBUILD for the AUR. However, trying to install dependencies leaves me with this error:

yarn install v1.22.17
[1/4] Resolving packages...
error An unexpected error occurred: "https://registry.yarnpkg.com/asarUnpack: Not found".
info If you think this is a bug, please open a bug report with the information provided in "/home/naxdy/git/DeskCut/yarn-error.log".
info Visit https://yarnpkg.com/en/docs/cli/install for documentation about this command.

I have node (via nvm), yarn and asar installed. Are there any other dependencies I may be missing?

Choose category

Being able to choose/edit categories in the app would have been nice.

.desktop Destination

Hey, great tool
Sometime, I really prefer desktop links over symbolic ones !
In my case I want some thunar direct links...

A great option/feature should be to choose where the new .desktop link is created
So I can use it directly from other folders (into my project folder)
EDIT: I finally find my created .desktop into /home/USER/.local/share/applications/
I manually copy it (into my project's folder)
Then allow execution

Am on Arch
Installed deskcut-git r38
Thanks
