Benchmarking against PyReshaper

It would be really nice to benchmark Xreshaper against the PyReshaper, especially for cases with fewer time-series variables (i.e., cases that have limited scalability). It would be great to demonstrate better scalability with Xreshaper.

Can we replace the PyReshaper with Xreshaper?

There are requests for future releases of PyReshaper and the need for the PyReshaper to support Python 3. While I believe that should be prioritized, I am wondering if future versions of the PyReshaper should be based on Xreshaper. Can we do this? Can we build all of the functionality necessary into Xreshaper so that is matches the functionality of the PyReshaper? What will it take?
