arxiv 404 results in infinite loading animation

Sometimes arxiv or cors-anywhere return 404. That results in an infinite loading animation.

Cannot add the same paper after deleting it.

Once the paper is added in the citation map, if it is removed, re-adding is not allowed. Displays "Paper already added".

Import / export maps

Ability to import and export maps.

Add badges with more informations for every paper

It would be nice to have badges with different colors for every paper that indicates the publication date, the venue, etc.

Github code out of date, I'd like to contribute tweaks

Hey! Pretty impressed by https://papermap.xyz/, found it via a new search engine. I'd like to add functionality to it; some things I might add to my own version could include bulk select, highlighting papers different colors, highlighting based on which ones have notes, dark mode, export to json, etc. if I'm feeling particularly fancy, maybe even a button to apply iterations of a force-directed solver. probably not that one.

However, the code in this repo is pretty out of date with the current public one.

Should I try it anyway?
