Chrome Tab Limit

A Chrome Extension that limits the number of open, non-pinned tabs to 20.

Installation

1. Download or clone this repository
2. Go to chrome://extensions
3. Enable developer mode
4. Load the unpacked extension

Use

Click on the Tab Limit icon to enable/disable the limiting functionality.

The remaining number of new tabs you can open will be displayed over the icon.

Modification question

Hi necolas, don't have other way to message you, but quick question, I want to modify this plugin so that while enabled won't allow more tabs, even if I exit others. Mostly want to use it while widdling down open tabs. Do you have a suggestion of where I can modify this to have it recursively change the tabs allowed to the current total. Would be awesome, thanks!
