Getting Started

These instructions will get you a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes.

Prerequisites

What things you need to install the software and how to install them:

  • A working installation of Alteryx Designer
  • Basic knowledge of Alteryx Macros
  • Git installed on your local system
  • A GitHub account

Installation

  1. Clone the repository to your local machine using git clone https://github.com/SiyangLi99/open-alteryx-macro.git.
  2. Navigate to the cloned repository.
  3. Run the Install.yxwz file to install the necessary components.

Usage

This section is for providing examples of how your project can be used.

  1. Navigate to the Macros directory to access the Alteryx macros.
  2. Use the macros in your Alteryx workflows as necessary.
  3. The 'Samples' directory provides examples of how to use the macros.
  4. The 'TestMacros' directory contains macros that are used for testing purposes.
