VDB Backups about fauna

This rethink-backup script runs nicely through Docker. I'm trying to setup a docker host that would automatically run daily nextflu builds (querying from vdb). This backup script could run of the same always-on server.

Currently trying to get a script to copy the vdb database into the test database so that we can try new scripts on the test database. Have you tried running this rethink-backup script on S3 yet? Do you know if it outputs tar.gz or json files? The restore command takes tar.gz files but I'm getting errors with this. The import command takes json files. Curious what the rethink-backup script outputs so that I can use similar code for reverting to backups and making copies of the database.

Okay. I'll look into the rethink-backup docker script this afternoon.

Just figured out that dump and restore must be used on the same database, so we can backup vdb with those commands. We want to make daily backups of each table in vdb and push the output tar files to an S3 bucket.
