README

sheaf

Render documents as self-contained HTML pages — with a shared Tailwind v3 + shadcn-style design system — instead of markdown. Sheaf is a Claude Code skill, packaged as a marketplace plugin.

What you get

  • A skill that triggers automatically on "create a report", "write a plan", "draft a summary", "explain how X works", "give me a status update", etc.
  • A ~50 KB pre-compiled CSS layer with semantic component classes (card, btn, badge, alert, stat, timeline, prose, ...).
  • A ⌘K command palette that auto-discovers every page in the workspace and a light/dark toggle.
  • A scan.js script that maintains a pages.json manifest for cross-page navigation.

Screenshot

Add a screenshot of skills/sheaf/references/components.html rendered, or a generated page.

Installation

From a Claude Code session:

/plugin marketplace add nicolaslescop/sheaf
/plugin install sheaf@sheaf

Or from a local clone:

/plugin marketplace add /absolute/path/to/sheaf
/plugin install sheaf@sheaf

Example triggers

  • "Draft me a status report on the Q2 migration."
  • "Write an implementation plan for switching to OAuth."
  • "Explain how our caching layer works."
  • "Give me a post-mortem template for last week's incident."

Contributing

CSS changes go through build/:

cd build
npm install
npx tailwindcss -i ./tw-src.css -o ../skills/sheaf/assets/app.css --minify
