Hi,

Since this app is GPLv3 licensed, are you considering the fact to add it to F-Droid? There is a strong community behind.

You can find some documentation here.

Otherwise, if you don't want to work on the inclusion of this app in F-Droid by yourself, would you still agree with the inclusion of your app in F-Droid by the maintainer team?

When in the car it makes more sense to go to the next favorite station instead of the next station in the complete list of stations (might be personal preference). Would be nice to make this an option.

My project is still using Exoplayer but if there is a workaround, we might prioritize an update to the latest AndroidX Apis.

When nederadio is not running and you start Android Auto, the recent playing item is gone:

Reproducer

• Install Version 2.2.2
• Play a radio station, pause it.
• Run the DHU: desktop-head-unit --usb
• Now Nederadio is show in Android Auto

• Close DHU
• Kill the app (Settings - Force Stop)
• Open the DHU
• Now instead of the last items it shows "Tap to open"

Other apps (you can repeat these steps with Pocket Casts) manage to show the recently played item:

We should give the loading animation the color depending on the container color it is currently showing on. This is dynamic with dark/light mode and Material You color schemes

Sometimes a media notification is present but the controls are not working. We need to investigate what the cause is.

It's possible to autoplay the first radio station on the list or the last one played?

Might be nice to show the users favorites or related streams in the "for you" section on Android auto. Currently it just shows a loading shimmer and eventually an error.
