chatappReactNode aka ChatVortex

Its a simple chat app that embraces in vreation of various chat rooms and allows people to enter those and talk to othe people.

The project is structured in two parts :-

1.Frontend - React App

2.Backend -Node App

It currently use Socket.io as a framework to connect realtime data between users.

Currently the data doesnt get stored or there isn't any authentication as such but future iterations in other repositories with other chat apps will surey have them.

Getting Started

npm i - to install the dependencies of the project npm run start - to start the project
