dotfiles

My personal dotfiles + computer (Mac) setup scripts. Feel free to take a look and copy stuff you find suitable. I'm also open for suggestions for improving this setup!

How to:

• git clone this repo
• EMAIL=<your email address here> ./install_mac

Stuff:

• Scripts linted with ShellCheck
• Trying to follow Google's Shell Style Guide
• Tested manually in virtual box with the help of this setup script.

The script crashed soon with:

Fresh install did not get brew to path when installed step by step

Perhaps need to do shell refresh on exit

Add mosh

On mac it's basically brew install mosh but for opening the firewall one needs to get the exact location from brew info mosh to be able to un block, not use the symlinked one. See blinksh/blink#11 (comment)

Incorrect nvm sourcing

Perhaps should be:

source $(brew --prefix nvm)/nvm.sh
