Build and Execution

• To clean your working directory:
  • mvn clean
• To compile the project:
  • mvn compile
• To run the project in development mode:
  • mvn -q exec:java (here, -q tells maven to be quiet)
• To package the project as a turn-key artefact:
  • mvn packagemvn
• To run the packaged delivery:
  • java -jar target/piraten-karpen-jar-with-dependencies.jar
• To run the project in development mode without log with required arguments:
  • mvn -q exec:java -Dexec.args="random combo"
• To run with program with logging with required arguments:
  • mvn -q exec:java -Dmy.trace="true" -Dexec.args="random combo"

ASSUMPTIONS:

• Player can get negative points. From how the game is played, it wouldn't make sense for player not to lose points if at 0.

Remark: We are assuming here you are using a real shell (e.g., anything but PowerShell on Windows)
