nix-community / dreampkgs Goto Github PK

I've made a couple of changes to allow for darwin as well as linux, however upon trying to build a derivation, I run into the following error

❯ nix build .#ratel
warning: Git tree '/Users/raphael/dev/dreampkgs' is dirty
error: a 'x86_64-linux' with features {} is required to build '/nix/store/gwa70dbhvq8kj92s3k2ybsmbmyipiirg-ensure-file-changed.drv', but I am a 'x86_64-darwin' with features {benchmark, big-parallel, nixos-test}

when running the command to add a package, here is what I get

❯ nix run . -- add github.com:dgraph-io/ratel
error: attribute 'defaultApp.x86_64-darwin' should have type 'derivation'

I just noticed that the hydra build for the most recent commit has failed. It looks like it didn't detect any input changes from the commit, which is likely why it failed.

Rather than go with the nixpkgs approach of having 1 repo containing a million packages, is it possible that each package would be its own flake and then this repo is a flake of those? Is there a problem with structuring things this way?
