Upload PDFs and EPUBs to the reMarkable Cloud, which is particularly useful on Linux as the official desktop application is not available.
pip install "git+https://github.com/nk027/file2rm"To upload a PDF or EPUB to the reMarkable Cloud simply run
file2rm example.pdf
file2rm example.epub --title "Example EPUB"- The
pdf2remarkablecommand is provided as a alias. - The first time you run this, you will be asked to pair your device. Just follow the instructions and paste your OTC.
- The token is stored at
~/.config/file2rm; if the fallback~/.pdf2remarkableexists that is used instead. - If you have authentication problems or want to re-pair, delete the file and run again.

EPUBs are uploaded natively by default; file2rm can also convert to PDF if you have ebook-convert (Calibre) or pandoc installed. To force conversion to PDF, run
file2rm --epub-convert always example.epubYou can install an EPUB converter using your system package manager:
sudo apt install calibre # for ebook-convert
