I'm a curious Data Scientist 📊 and Researcher in Evolutionary Biology, Ecolgogy and Biogeography (mostly birds 🐦 ) based in Manaus, in the Brazilian Amazon 🌱. I have a natural hunger for learning new stuff and I love to explore and model data, find patterns, ask and answer intriguing questions.

• 🌱 I’m currently learning more about software development and deep learning with a focus on computer vision and audio/image classification.

• 🌱 I currently work as Data Scientist at RainForest Connection (RFCx) where we use autonomous recorders coupled with artificial intelligence to detect illegal activity and monitor biodiversity in wild environments.
