Allow signed in users to submit caption cue timings for videos using the built in editor so that it becomes easier for captioners to add in the text without having to do the timing themselves.

I'd attach a screenshot, but my screenshotting tool isn't cooperating.

Sadly the site doesn't look great. Anyone with a better idea for the design is welcome to throw their suggestions here.

Add ability to export to ASS

Apologies if i'M misunderstanding what the translated title is for, but if I'm just making English captions for an English video, it would be nice if there was an option to use the video title.

I know this extension and the website won't fix PeerTube's need for community contributions (eg. Amara, Weblate, Git, Taiga) either as server-side plugins for currently-existing open-source crowdsourcing platforms or built in internally into PeerTube, but this was brought up as Issue #1481 three years ago.

I know it's probably easier to direct download to a computer then edit subtitles with Subtitle Edit, Aegisub etc then reupload the subtitle files but many of the interfaces of offline editors are not very user-friendly for fan-subtitlers who are used to YouTube's interface, Amara's interface etc.

Most PeerTube instances use a player which stream with WebTorrent or HLS with P2P inside the web browser. And it would be nice to host the subtitle files externally and have community feedback on the quality of those subtitles or closed captions.

Support dark mode on YouTube and possibly other sites

Allow users to use them when creating captions in the editor

Hi, would be nice if it supported google drive video.
The player it uses is exactly the same as Youtube so it shouldn't be that as a big deal.
