Better documentation

I am not an QGIS expert, therefore the useage of the tool is not quiet clear to me.
I see the "Temporal Controller", but nothing is shown to me. Can you explain how to use the tool?

my file can be converted to gpx and looks fine. So i guess the file is not corrupted.

As my main tracking tools (Garmin smartwatch, Garmin eTrex) track in GPX format, GPX support would be highly appreciated!
