Just came across Google Noto Modi font. The efforts taken are highly appreciated. Though, some characters doesn't appear for how they should be ("A" and "Ma" are not correct). What should be done to rectify the errors in the font?
How can I make my own Modi font which will be visible as the characters and not tofu, in the digital world?

In this font, the shape of the subjoined ra depends on whether there is one consonant in the cluster or many. It should actually depend on the shape of the bottom of the base to which it attaches.

In Modi script Shiroregha never breaks so the digits have Shiroregha same as the letters. In NotoSansModi-Regular.ttf font shiroregha is missing for the Digits.

KrΜ₯ has a glyph that looks identical to dka. No similar character combinations transform similarly, so this is probably a mistake.

In this font, dΓ±a looks like dna. The former gets a special ligated glyph and the latter gets the regular sequence of half da and full na. DΓ±a isnβt special: it should look like the regular sequence of half da and full Γ±a. The current special ligated glyph could be reassigned to dna or just deleted.
All of this goes for dΓ±Δ and dΓ±u too.

The special form of ra before -Δ takes precedence in this font over the kΔra ligature, leading to the incorrect rendering of kΔrΔ. It should look like the kΔra ligature followed by the normal vowel sign -Δ; cf. karΔ and kΔri. L2/11-212R2, p. 9 gives an example of karΔ.

First of all, I want to say thank you to all you guys, for doing such excellent work of developing high quality fonts with larger Unicode coverage....!!
Noto fonts are helping us to revive rare and less explored scripts and their characteristics by giving them a digital identity. One such script is Modi. We have Noto Sans Modi for it, which is very fine, but has a 'sans approach'.
But, traditionally, Modi is written with a serif approach. It is written using 'Boru', giving it a varying width outline style. Therefore, it will be appropriate to implement it in Noto fonts.
Thanking you...
Abhishek
