Noto Sans Oriya sources, tests and development fonts

Noto fonts

Noto’s goal is to provide a beautiful reading experience for all languages. It is a free, professionally-designed, open-source collection of fonts with a harmonious look and feel in multiple weights and styles. All Noto fonts are published under the SIL Open Font License (OFL) v1.1, which allows you to copy, modify, and redistribute them if you need to.

Intended Content of the Directories contained here:

• design : is intended to hold all design artifacts, images, sketches, etc.
• hinted : should contain all hinted fonts created from the source in src directory.
• src : Glyphs.app source (until we figure how how to also support UFOs)
• test : test files to test the fonts (most likely html)
• unhinted : should contain all unhinted fonts created from the source in src directory.

Request for addition of U+0B55 ORIYA SIGN OVERLINE

This new character has been added to Unicode:

• U+0B55 ORIYA SIGN OVERLINE

Would it be possible to add it to the Noto Sans Oriya font?

The proposal is found here: http://www.unicode.org/L2/L2019/19005r2-odia-overline.pdf

This is a combining mark which needs an above attachment point and needs to be added to the above marks class in the OpenType code.

Some information from the proposal that might be useful:

• The ORIYA SIGN OVERLINE should immediately follow whatever it comes after. If there is a vowel sign, it should immediately follow the vowel sign. If there is no vowel sign it should immediately follow the base consonant.
