Make the blog look less messy
Change the three green buttons
- Three green buttons (Join YGs, etc): good placement, HATE HATE HATE the font. Either use our standard font (TheSansOffice) OR again could try out Thurston.
Is there any chance you could have a go at making these look a bit better?. Ideally it'd be nice to have different icons too, to make us look distinctive.
Make sure responsive.css is exhaustively commented
Tell a story. Explain each individual goal.
Move campaign site onto main page
Campaigns - can we bring the 10:1 content into the new website, rather than sitting separately on a WordPress? Any idea how easy that would be?
Incorporate Logo
Take our old logo out of everything - replace it with the new one...
Change action buttons at the bottom
Action buttons at the bottom: because these look so different to the 3 green box buttons at the top, I assumed that the top set were for YG-specific actions and the bottom 3 for national party stuff. (This is true) As this is not the case, there needs to be more consistency between the top ones and the bottom ones. I like the design of the bottom ones and wouldn't change that, but the font used on both should probably be the same, as well as the wording.
I can't access these myself - is that something you could change? The design is nice, but I kind of disagree with the above - it'd be nice to have our own design - perhaps to match with whatever you could do in number 2? The words need to say Young Greens, not Green Party.
'find out more' bit on the right of some of the pages
If I gave you a detailed spec of what we wanted for the 'find out more' bit on the right of some of the pages - would you be able to edit that?
Change the rotating photo banners
- Rotating photo banners: great feature, although the navigational arrows in bottom right corner are almost invisible - maybe make them bigger? Also I don't like the font overlaid on them though (the white with black edging). I think it would look infinitely better without the outline effect (this is pretty dated), or even - to be consistent with new publications - we could use the same font in those as people seem to have responded well to that - it's called Thurston, can be used in capitals or lowercase, and free to download from dafont.com.
Is there any chance you could have a go at making these look a bit better? I don't have any design software, so it'd be a paint job it I did it... I can send you the original photos.
Green buttons on mobile site
I just tested the mobile site and most of the green buttons with text on aren't high enough res, so that needs to be changed (maybe they're .jpg when they should be .svg or similar file type?).
