News App with realtime chats built using Jetpack Compose

Goals:

  • Improve knowledge on Coroutines by implementing numerous server/db calls asynchronously
  • Practice UI/UX through Material Design
  • Improve server-side knowledge utilizing websockets and RESTful services
  • Practice handling network calls
