Thanks Jan. Your script uses Windows / PowerShell, while I'm on Linux / OSX.
So basically this Vagrant plugin _requires_ VMware vCenter and is useless on the free-version.
I will close this ticket.

Hi hbokh,
you need a vCenter installed for cloning/templating, which is not included in the free edition.
In #70 I've attached a script, which supports cloning in terms of copying the vmdk file. It just won't work for more complicated virtual machine setups.

Same problem here. I was searching for the templates during few hours...
@hbokh, I have the same setup. Any idea for a free alternative?
