fil's Issues

error mounting

So Ive downloaded the lastest Flashpoint this week, and successfully used the import tool to get it into Launchbox with the latest version here of both FIL and CLIFp, all freshly downloaded this week.
The import process went fine, but in Launchbox it it doesn't work and comes up with a mounting error for all flash files.

[Feature] Support for Kahvibreak and InstanceArchive (based off Flashpoint Launcher but modified)

Kahvibreak is a preservation project for all the J2ME/Mophun/Nokia 3410 games (instead of web games). It uses a modified version of Flashpoint Launcher and is a side project of BlueMaxima. I have tried importing it with FIL into LaunchBox but it does not work.
There is also Instance Archive which is also based on the Flashpoint launcher but is for early Game Maker games. FIL does not support this one as well.

I would love it if FIL supported these as I have a pretty huge collection of games and would like to add Java J2ME phone games (adding the standalone KEmulator and FreeJ2ME does not work) as well as early Game Maker games.

Here are the links for these projects:
https://bluemaxima.org/kahvibreak/
https://bluemaxima.org/instance_archive/

They aren't as updated as Flashpoint but I would still like to add them to my Launchbox collection.

[BUG] Your issue here...

When I launch an Adobe flash game from Launchbox it will not work and gives me an error:

_CLI Flashpoint
Could not start F:\Emulators\Adobe Flash Player\Flashpoint 8.2 Infinity\FPSoftware\Redirector\Redirect.exe!

Execution will now be aborted._

I've attached an image of the error.

If I open Flashpoint and then launch the same game from flashpoint the game works fine.
After I open the game in Flashpoint, I can then go back to launchbox and launch the game from launchbox and it works fine.

It seems like this issue only occurs if:

  1. Restart your computer (act like you booted up your PC for the very first time)
  2. Flashpoint is closed.
  3. Launchbox is closed
  4. Open Launchbox
  5. Launch an adobe flash game from launchbox that has been imported with the importer tool. This error only seems to occur with games that utilize the Adobe flash player (not Shockwave or any of the other flash tools)
  6. See error

Expected behavior
The game should open in launchbox without having to open flashpoint first.

If applicable, add screenshots to help explain your problem.

[Feature] Import all platform as single Flashpoint Platform in Launchbox

Currently FIL will put together all FP platforms as a single Platform Category called Flashpoint, but each FP Platform still shows up separately in Platform view. Even though it's good to have each platform appeared separately in LB, it does cluttered with the view especially when one try to use BigBox mode. It would be best if FIL has an option to merge/consolidate all platform in FP into one single platform called Flashpoint.

For example I already have a clean Platform for all console/arcade/handheld system, where each Platform correspond to a physical real system. Wouldn't want FP 100+ platforms to mess up and give the wrong platform count where it is all Flash games, and therefore should belong to one system.

A temporarily solution to not clutter up BigBox is to click Hide in Big Box (Does Not Hide Games) checkbox in each FP platform, but then again it still shows up in Platform view in Launchbox Desktop mode.
