From time to time i get a system notification from the odoo app on my xperia Z1 telling me that there are a number of new messages available:

If i klick on the notification it takes me to Odoo App / Inbox BUT there, most of the time, are NO new Messages or the number of new Messages shown earlier in the notification has nothing to do with the number of messages in the Odoo / Inbox ?!?

A notification keeps popping up, also when there are 0 unread messages.

I get the "unable to reach odoo server" error using secure connection. My server is behind an Apache reverse proxy doing SSL with a valid and signed certificate. The certificate chain is working, I checked my certificate fully with online checkers. But the app keeps saying that the cert is wrong, and then it says that it was unable to reach the server. Looking on the server log, this is what is happening:

I'm using SISalp's online Odoo offering and receive the error Unable to reach Odoo Server. Odoo Mobile works fine with a test server that points to port 8069. I've tried with and without http:// and ports 80 and 8069. When I use 8069/80 it seeks (shows the spinning icon) continuously. (My url does have the - character twice in it: odoo.c-u-tech.com)

I have a OpenERP (Odoo) instance on my company's server.
On this server, I'm connecting using an openerp account (SSO), which works fine on the Web.
For the Odoo mobile application, a local account works fine, but my OpenERP doesn't work. Can you tell me if this authentification is supposed to work (maybe not at this time), or if there's a specific syntax to use for such accounts ? (I just entered my e-mail as identifier).

After running the messaging app, in the menu in the left, we can find Notes, that don't work. How we can delete the notes button from the Messaging Menu ?

When application launch .

This may be on purpose but i really think that it should be possible to write notes offline - if i can not add any information offline the whole app seems a little useless. May be a harsh opinion but probably a valid one.

the new version of the app doesn't sync contacts .

I Have created two VPS on AWS Cloud.

1. Bitnami click and play: Initially had no database erors and managed to get fixed but now it says invlaid username or password
2. My own build using port 8069: This will only login as admin if i try any other user it fails as says invalid username or password as above

Is this a permissions thing in odoo??

If so what specifically is it? or is there a command i need tun via ssh?

I just installed the Odoo Mobile app on my Android phone and typed my Odoo Server URL xxxxxxxxxx.odoo.com and got the error "Unable to reach the Odoo Server". What is the correct URL syntax?

At the moment it is not possible to send a message to a group.
Is there a reason for this? Will it be possible in the future?

Hi dear, I'm here face to a strange issue,

It seems that the application doesn't fetch all replies as in Web browser specially when I'm the author of the replies.

The childrens are not fetched or expandable messages

The application on the PlayStore has the same problem

Is it normal ? There is a fix ? Could I use the message_read method to fetch all messages ? If yes how can I implement this ?

Odoo Server URL works now 👍 and I can select a database. But I get the error "Invalid Username or Password !" I have tried to connect to Odoo Online (Oauth login) and also OpenERP V7 On-Premise (not Oauth login).

We have a self hosted instance of odoo. We are able to login using web but when we try using odoo mobile app it shows incorrect username password. We have used following post to configure app

With the Version 2 of the messaging app it is no longer possible to sync partners or calendar entries to the native android contacts or calendar.

There is no longer an option available in the android account for odoo to sync contacts or calndar. Using the Sync server Partners checkbox does nothing for me?

Is this functionality dropped? - If so it would sadly render itself useless for me.

I have managed to get apps like Merp on google play to connect and selects the database and works fine.

im running on port 80 is the app open to all ports and defined as 111.111.111.111:80 or does the app force port 8069 on all addresses entered.

Any help as it seems odd other apps are compatible with odoo

If we do enable the sync of contacts after we connect to the server the sync stops successfully after some seconds. But if we check the sync some hours later (Under Settings -> Accounts -> odoo ) the sync process is always running.

Process acore uses 100% of one CPU and the mobile phone gets very hot.

Tested with three different android mobile phones against openerp (odoo) v7.0.

If i can do anything that would help with testing or debugging i would happily do so!
