OGC Location Building Blocks documentation

This repository contains the sources for the OGC Location Building Blocks documentation.

For developers

This repository uses Jekyll to build the documentation. Please follow GitHub's documentation on using Jekyll for more information.

For the truly impatient:

Build locally with: bundle exec jekyll serve

Access the page on: http://127.0.0.1:4000/

The Minimal Mistakes Jekyll theme is used for styling.

Repository layout

• _pages: contains the different pages that make up the documentation.
• _data: additional files for layouts, configuration...
  • navigation.yml: navigation sidebar
• assets: contains images, css, js, etc.

bblocks-docs's Issues

Fix what is a Building Block

From Scott:

We need to reference the policy that established the building blocks: https://docs.ogc.org/pol/05-020r29/05-020r29.html#building-bloocks. We also need to be a little clear on definition: the “building block” is the element from the Standard, the opening sentence of the page would better read “A Building Block is a component of a specification…” and then have a second sentence that states this building block can be packaged for reuse… which is what the rest of the page describes.
