Since Black can scan all your files in one run, the gain of not having to start Python is negligible for a particular user on his local machine.

But I guess it could save a LOT of time / resources on a server running Black on many projects, in parallel, several times a minute / hour / day. I'm thinking of web services like Codacy, Codeclimate, Landscape and else. So nice work 👍!

But I wonder: wouldn't this be achievable in Python itself? Wrapping Black as a service running in the background, waiting to be fed some code to format / analyze? Does Rust really bring something here?

EDIT: just realized this is what you already do 😅 I guess you chose Rust to write the CLI because you like Rust 🙂
