ConsoleGL

ConsoleGL is a rendering engine which makes it easier to render stuff in the console with Color.

Get Started

Need to get up and running with ConsoleGL? Here is a quick template which could help you out.

First Install ConsoleGL

$ gem install ConsoleGL

If you already have ConsoleGL Installed then check for ConsoleGL Updates

$ gem update ConsoleGL

Once you have the gem installed/updated make a new ruby file and paste this in

require 'ConsoleGL'

counter = 0
currentColor = Color.WHITE

while true do

    if counter == 0
        currentColor = Color.WHITE
    elsif counter == 1
        currentColor = Color.GREEN
    else
        currentColor = Color.RED
    end



    Console.Draw(Console.BigSquareMiddle(currentColor))

    if counter > 4
        counter = 0
        Console.NewLine
    else
        counter += 1
    end

end

About Wiki

Question

Color and Input both only have one thing right now on the wiki, is there going to be more like Input.GetAnyKey or Color.LastColor (idk what color and input should have im just making stuff up)

151,155 not in self

on line 151 and 155 you can see the functions SetConsoleColor and ResetConsoleColor() dont have self.

How to exit on pressed key

Question

The title explains it already but I have this code that I want to end once a key is pressed.

Color not working

After updating to ConsoleGL 1.0.9 every time I add any color to anything

It doesnt show anything (cant post a screenshot because it automatically closes when I open the rb file)

SetConsoleColor & ResetConsoleColor() are not in self.
