rockstar's Issues

Suggestion for export headers

Thanks for the great tool!

I often export a user list with Rockstar to update a particular field from CSV via subsequent import. Since I'm going to turn around and import my CSV back into Okta, it would be handy to have the option to use the field variable names for the initial export instead of the "pretty" names, like login instead of Username. As it is now, I have to manually edit all of the headers that I want to import.

Not a big deal; but, that option would be helpful. :)

Architecture Diagram

Hi Gabrielsroka,

We have been testing rockstar for quite some now and wants to propose it for larger use for team.

For that we are in need to some sort of Architecture diagram (to present ) of it, can you let me know if you have any architecture diagram for Rockstar which we can use.

Let me know if you need any details from us as well.

Thanks in Advance
Regards
Rahul Jha

incorrect export for diacriticals

We have some employees with diacriticals in their names. These don't export correctly via Rockstar. I'm using this export to setup an import for a new profile attribute. I'm not sure how Okta would handle this on the import; so, I'm manually fixing them before my import.

Here are some examples of the correct names and how they come out via Rockstar export:

  • Andrés: Andr√©s
  • Belalcázar: Belalc√°zar
  • Blandón: Bland√≥n

Rate Limit hit when running experimental feature - Export App Sign On Policies

We are hitting a rate limit for "/admin*" and thus only getting only partial records exported from the "Export App Sign On Policies (experimental)" feature found in the Rockstar plugin when looking at "Applications". We understand that this is "experimental" but wanted to report the issue nevertheless so you are aware.

In addition to the issue above, I have a question for you about "Export Apps". It seems that in one of our tenants where Okta shows we have 495 active and 6 inactive apps when I use the Rockstar "Export Apps" feature it says 538 apps exported. Because there are so many apps and no easy way to pull a list from Okta's admin other than Rockstar I cannot tell why these counts don't add up. Do you have any ideas on why the Okta Admin screen shows less apps than what Rockstar "Export Apps" returns?

Thank you for your time! We continue to really like what you are doing with Rockstar and appreciate all the hard work you have put into it. Keep it up!!!

Older version of JQuery

Hi Team,

We are planning to use rockstar in our Okta setup, while scanning before the use of Rockstar plugin we scan the entire code and found out it is usng an older version of JQuery setup (Version 1.12.4).

We are planning to update the Jquery version to version 3.4+ and wants to know if this require any license to do that.

Can you also let us know if there is any license involved while using at enterprise level.

Let us know if we can make changes in code base and keep it our use as well.

Thanks
Rahul Jha
